I am looking for a chess set that is made out of marble, but also magnetized, or at least the appearance of marble.
As an elegant, decorative piece…
Anyone have any suggestions as far websites or places to go find one?
Price is not an issue past $200.00

In the process of packing I came across this old game case that belonged to my gram pa. Its a solid oak case and inside is a full Ivory domino set a marble chess set with Ivory pieces and 4 Ivory dice. I’m giving it to my sister and just kind of wondering a value. I need to no if I can get insurance on them or am I wasting my time looking since Ivory I think is Illegal.

I bought a marble chess set from a thrift store for 4 dollars!. Unfortunately, it was the type that writes the prices on everything with sharpie. Is there any way to get it off?
Thanks!

I have a stone carved chess set. It looks like marble, but somehow one of the pieces got broken in half. There has to be some kind of solvent for gluing stone back together. Can anyone suggest anything more suitable than just plain old super glue?
